Construction is underway at the first eye hospital in the Himalayan area of Bhakunde Besi in Nepal

Operation International partners with Dooley Intermed in building the first eye hospital in the Himalayan area of Bhakunde Besi in Nepal. It is Nepal’s poorest district with population of 600,000+. There are tens of thousands of patients in that area who are suffering from eye diseases and not a single hospital dedicated to provide eye care to them. We are proud to be a part of this ambitious outreach and in building the first and only eye hospital in that area.

Our Operation Restore Vision team is planning to be there this December for the opening ceremony and is expected to evaluate over 1000 during their mission and perform over 100 vision restoring operation.

Your support is what allows us to do such work, and we are grateful for all of our donors. Please continue to support us by donating.
